Today marks the end of an era(or eura I suppose). I have decided to sunset Eura Industries, the company I founded in 2025, and transition to a more personal brand for my projects and content.
What’s happening?
- All valuble projects from Eura Industries had already began transitioning to my personal account, and that finished today. The left over projects will be avalible for download on dl.eura.dev under the Archives folder, but they will no longer be updated, supported or available after July 1st, 2026.
- The eura.dev domain now hosts this blog
- All projects that have been transitioned to my personal account will continue to be updated and supported as normal, and will now be under the JustEthanCodes brand.
Why am I doing this?
I started Eura Industries with the goal of pulling together a team of people to work on projects together. However, it ended up being a solo job, and I was fed up of having to use a company account for everything, and having to deal with the extra hassle that comes with it. I also wanted to have a more personal brand for my projects, and I think this is the best way to do that. All projects from now on will be on my personal account, like Cinnamon Roll, and many others.
What does this mean for you?
Nothing really changes for you, except that the projects will now be under the JustEthanCodes brand instead of Eura Industries. You can still find all the projects on my GitHub account, and they will continue to be updated and supported as normal. The only difference is that they will now be under a different name. As no projects had any database behind them, no transition is necessary.
Notice for users of the Cupertino theme
The Cupertino theme for VSCode will be avalible for download on dl.eura.dev and 1.3 will be avalible on vscode marketplace until July 1st, 2026. After that, it will only be on dl.eura.dev, as a marketplace transition begins, and it should be back up by July 15th,under JustEthanCodes.
Contact will stay the same
Don’t worry, you can still contact me at ethan@eura.dev as usual.
Final thoughts
Thanks to everyones who even looked at a repo on the org. I know it wasn’t the most active org, but I still appreciate everyone who showed interest in it. I’m excited for this new chapter, and I hope you are too. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to email me at ethan@eura.dev
